I don't get this thread at all. SCOTUS ruling today was quite clear that a legally married same sex couple in those states where same sex marriage is recognized get federal benefits.

ETA: Nevermind - you added a poll. I guess you're asking if people agree with the SCOTUS decision. I am neutral.

Yes. Why Not?

I do think that the number of federal benifits married couples received, can be up to debate, but I see no reason why they should be restricted to opposite-sex couples.

(and to those who say otherwise...um, adoption, pre-existing children, etc.)

You know what, I don't care.

More important things plague this country, like illegal immigration and the regressive lefts attack on the 2nd amendment, than two gay dudes ramming each other in the pooper.
