The reason is these guys are so protected in their plight to make it. They do not have to actually get good grades in school. The grades are given to them. They do not have to discipline themselves and are completely sheltered. When they get to the point where they actually have to make decisions on their own, their mentality is if anything goes wrong, someone else will step in to get them out if it or cover it up.

The type of quick aggression that is needed to be such a good football player, is also the type of aggression that leads to impulsive violent aggression when dealing with others. Between that, and the hero status they are granted, what is surprising isn't that it happens. What's surprising is that there isn't more.

Usually starts with public school. Are you a great ball player? Well then they can't actually punish you otherwise it'll hurt the team's chance of a trophy. Player can be illiterate, date rapist, sexual harasser, bully, and commit multiple acts of assault and battery and still not get expelled nor kicked off the team. This attitude continues and worsens in college where some players don't even show up to classes and still manage to "graduate". Would love to hear some of these mental midgets read a book out loud.

If you look at the list you'll find that the majority of the players who were arrested are minorities as is the case in the general population as well. Liberals often cite racism, discrimination, and poverty as excuses as to why minorities commit a high percentage of crime. I'd be interested to hear their take on this scenario. Will the good old fallbacks of racism and discrimination be cited here? Or maybe it's Bush's fault........

A discussion of facts and reality is racist if liberals disagree or don't happen to like the facts they're confronted with. Yay liberalism! It's so wonderful!

Asked for statistics on NHL player arrests between July 2012 and today, a league spokesperson was unequivocal in an email to MSN News: "The number of NHL players arrests is ZERO," she wrote.

Yes, in today's world....it's very weird with Liberals.

A real world observation of two men having sex with each other is "science"

Observing that blacks commit more crimes at a much larger clip is "racism"
