Democracy does take time, valiant time and energy. And once we have experienced Democracy, we should not let it slip away.

For no one.

For those who have not had nor experienced Democracy, are now rejoicing in the Streets.

Are they rejoicing for the right reasons? and who will replace!

Of course they evacuate the embassy, look at the situation there. Of course the military there is pro US, - we bought them.

They'll replace him with another two-bit dictator.

That's the question, and my guess is that is will be a military leader who has US approval. This is how we got Mubarak in power. These demonstrators played right into the pockets of the US best interest. Co-incidence? I doubt it.

I know of another country with a corrupt, incompetent, communist president that desperately needs to have the military run him out of the White House in order to save our country...

pray tell you are not serious. obama is incompetent, obama is increasing the power and scope of the executive branch of government, unconstitutionally imo, but we dont need the military to step in and throw him out of office, it would set a very bad precedent, and really kill our prestige around the world. remember that our government has lasted since 1789 in this form. yes we have had problems with presidents and their scandels over the years, but they were just black eyes, and we survived them pretty much intact. if we have a military coup now, then that shows the world that we are no better than them with our form of government.

You cannot have the military remove their civilian commander and chief and consider the country saved.

If you're serious it is because you have convinced yourself that our president isn't president so it's OK or you believe the only way to save the Constitution is to bludgeon it to death.

Obama is already a lame duck. Multiple scandals, ObamaCare in a shambles, U6 unemployment still barely down from its peak. Job approval back down to 45.3 (RCP) after finally getting within striking distance of 50%.

Hopefully 2014 will be a reiteration of 2010. As a conservative, I wouldn't want to see Obama replaced now if I could. We would trade a military coup for 3 years of a hamstrung Obama admin? Get real.
