Well, you knew this was coming: Everyone's favorite rocker-slash-gun-lover-slash-Obama-hater, Ted Nugent, is considering a run for the Oval Office. The news comes in the middle of a pretty spectacular Washington Post profile of Nugent. (His first words to the interviewer? He says he's been off "killing some squirrels" with his brother and warns, "You are just going to be tsunamied by all this energy.") Here's the relevant quote: "'Hi, I’m Ted Nugent. I have nine children from seven women, and I’m running for president.' Yeah, I’m thinking about it."

He's far more qualified than George W. Bush. Even though both were draft dodgers, at least Ted didn't rely on his daddy to shirk serving in Vietnam.
uhm, bush didnt dodge the draft, he was in the national guard, and volunteered to go to vietnam but was turned down due to not having enough flight hours, and for flying in the wrong aircraft, we were not using F102s in vietnam. nice try but you FAILED on that part.
as for ted nugent and dodging the draft, that is up for speculation, and probably isnt accurate to say he dodged the draft;
Update, Ted Nugent on Running for President: 'Sure, Why Not?'
He's teased it for months, but it appears Ted Nugent may be seriously considering -- if not fully preparing -- a bid for President of the United States.
In an interview Monday with Detroit's WCSX, Nugent touched on his political aspirations.
In other words, Nugent has realized that in a world where millions of rubes hand over money to Sarah Palin's PAC, there is no actual downside for an entertainer pretending to have political ambitions.
Don't pop their bubble. Any one that thing HC.gov cost 6000,000,000 would buy Ted Nugent would make viable candidate...Let alone President.
There is a reason we don't allow the insane to vote...to prevent people like TN from ever being elected to any office. Not even dog catcher.
