I don't believe it.

You don't share that you had just listened to what YOU think is your son's last moment?

And pass it off by saying you "had a lot going on".

No.

If he would've said he didn't tell her because he didn't want her to hear the gunshot that killed Trayvon? That would've been believeable.

Not that he was too busy.

I'm not buying it.

Omara has got the chief on for the kill shot after Martins dad. This should be good.

Why in the world would they wonder about background information regarding Martin, other than the information which the ME testimony regarding the autopsy.

Did you notice that it was the DEFENSE who called the gym owner??? That was Defense evidence. The Defense decided to present that evidence, not the State.
The Prosecution called the Physician's Assistant that did mention "MMA style training".

Yea, I believe that so much was going on, he didn't share he heard his son's dying voice to the son's mother.

This guy isn't a good witness. He wants to add and improvise.

He should know to just answer the question.

Well, he's off the stand now. What did Martin's father say that may have opened the door to Trayvon's reputation/character, and why didn't the Defense pursue it, if the testimony opened that door?

You don't have to as you aren't on the jury.

I read that too. The son was also a chef. I thought it sounded pretty reasonable.

Back on topic. I seem to remember a lot of people arguing that Zimmerman didn't have to put on any evidence at all, that he could just rely on the presumption of innocence. Hmmmm. Seems like the Defense attorneys saw the requirement to put on evidence from a very different perspective. They're calling a lot of witnesses in order to establish a prima facie case.

I think so, too, but just don't like sitting around on pins and needles wondering what, exactly, the prey is.

If the jury didn't suspect this already, with the Mayor not including the Chief of Police in the room when playing the 911 recording for Trayvon's father, they'll know some kind of discord was going on with the police force and other forces, so to speak.
