So you're saying if an obviously drunk person shoots someone with a gun then the police don't have to do an alcohol test because he wasn't driving at the time he killed someone? That the alcohol level in his blood has no bearing on what happened? Get real. If it matters what was in Martin's blood stream, then it matters what was in Zimmerman's!
Zimmerman was not obviously under the influence of anything. The only reason they knew that Martin had drugs in his system was from the autopsy.
No, the evidence matters more. Just because today's jurors are inept and fabricate their own evidence means nothing. See the Casey Anthony trial for an example. If the evidence adds up but the jury goes another way, there will be an appeal for sure.
And how many of those that have pre-determined that George is guilty, prior to the start of the trial, are racists, anti-gun extremists and far-left liberals? Seems like quite a few based on comments just on this board.

You're probably correct; if George is found guilty I expect the defense would appeal. It's pretty standard in most criminal cases, especially if there are indications that the trial was not fair or the judge was biased or partial towards the prosecution.

And the whole world is suppose to take your word for that? Where is the proof? Oh, ya, the police didn't gather any evidence off Zimmerman the night of the shooting. Martin had trace amounts of grass in his system. I'll bet if you tested the posters here at CD on a Friday night 1/4 of them would test positive.
