This is sick. Should the background check requirements for political positions be enhanced?

Accused? Heck, where was the outrage when a democratic president was accused of sexual assault.

He is innocent until proven guilty. If indeed he is proven guilty he should get hit with the fullest punishment the laws allow.

There have many instances of false accusation of child abuse. That said, if he is proven guilty he will never again be accepted as an R in good standing. Compare and contrast to Democrats such as Clinton and Weiner.

Thanks to the OP for providing the opportunity to make that point!

Neither molested kids and partisan arguments should have nothing to do with child molestation.

Hmmm...imagine state police taking you to a hotel room where the governor of the state sticks his **** in your face.

As for this case, we really don't know the truth and we may never learn what actually happened.

As for this state senator, his life is ruined regardless of guilt or innocence because that's just how these things go.

I would hope that any person in that kinda situation would seek help, support, and legal assitance. See something, say something.

As for the senator, his life is not over if found innocent.

So having an affair an flashing a pic of your junk is in the same league as child molestation?? Not to mention you seem to be forgetting about a certain Congressman who was elected after going AWOL as Governor to have an affair or a certain Senator who played diaper fetish games with a Prostitute...

With that being said we don't know all the facts of this case yet, but regardless of party if true no way in hell would this guy ever come close to political office again.
