What do you think of this trend? An increasing number of businesses in the US are reacting to the falling value of the dollar by accepting cash payments in foreign currencies such as the Euro, the Canadian dollar, Yen, or others. In fact, this is often preferred, since the currency will increase in value relative to payments tendered in dollars.

Would you accept or encourage foreign currency payments at a business you ran? Is this trend a good sign, that people are thinking beyond our borders, or is there some unease behind it as well?

Wow, that would be a shock... I know convenience stores wouldn't even take the canadian coin that somehow has mixed in with the american coins in the 1990's. What a change now, lol. I know when I was traveling to other countries, the dollar was very valued. I wonder if that is true anymore, they probably want a currency exchange now, lol!
