I'm wondering if the people hating on Martin would feel the same way if he had shot Zimmerman in self-defense if he had been legally carrying a weapon?
I've stated all along that both parties were/are morons. This is what happens when they meet on rainy nights.

Even if TM did not start it, at some point he knocked Zim a good one. He didnt need to continue the assault. If he had one ounce of self preservation instinct, he should have backed off when he clearly put Z on his back. Z was no longer a threat.
Let's assume you are correct. We don't know how long Trayvon continued to beat Zimmerman. Your argument would hold more weight if we knew for sure how long the fight (and supposed life threatening beating) lasted.
I don't have to have a reason, as calling someone a "racist" is nothing more than a device used to de-leverage another's argument, usually when you realize you are intellectually and factually underhanded.

No one is hating on Martin, show the posts where people are hating on Martin. They are bringing up Martin's past of course, and some of it is ridiculous, but no where near the vile hate being spewed about Zimmerman.
If Martin shot Zimmerman in self-defense, the state would have to prove Martin did not shoot in self-defense.
I already stated I think Zimmerman is not telling the whole truth, and even initiated the conflict, but there is no evidence to counter Zimmerman's claims.
