Good and he should. Anytime we can call the media out for misleading the public, we should, they deserve it.

That way those being attacked can at least give their own statement. Their report did run on the station with a revision of allowing Monsanto to give a statement on the subject. The lawsuit wasn't that FOX News wanted to lie. It was that the managers of a local station wanted to allow a corporation a chance to defend their product even if what they said was a lie.
The attorneys for Fox, owned by media baron Rupert Murdoch, argued the First Amendment gives broadcasters the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on the public airwaves.

Defamation law holds public figures to a different standard, making it much more difficult for them to sue. But I suppose Obama could sue Fox if he really wanted to come down to that level.

Nope, the best Zimmy could hope for is a spot on Fox News as a commentator speaking out for the right to use excessive force during delusional , paranoid episodes.
The Enquirer gets sued and loses!

Defaming Obama is now telling the truth?

The guy is a habitual liar and racist.
Where's the defamation?

They should be made to pay for the State side costs of the trial too.
Why? There should have been a trial from the get go. We just can't go around murdering people and claim self defense and have the police say oh, ok.....we'll take your word for it

People can be sued over what they say. I have no idea why one wants to pursue this line of thinking. Zimmerman will sue and win.

The same way many lawsuits are paid for. A percentage basis.

Where will he get the money to sue? If it comes to that.

Should add ABC to the list. Gutman said he killed Trayvon because he was Black.
