I'm actually surprised that many people in this day and age, some who view themselves as libertarian leaning, associate marijuana smoking with violent or thuggish behavior.

The people using marijuana for character assassination are disingenuous and don't really believe their own posts on this matter. They also teach their kids how to shoot and love guns but get bees in their panties when---gasp---a black kid might take an interest in guns. It's not about marijuana or guns, it's about using whatever they can to assassinate someone's character.

Georgie's brother is now telling anyone who will listen that Trayvon is probably a drug dealer and gun runner. No one would EVER suggest such a thing about a white teenager with the same history.
For that matter, a white teenager would never have been targeted by ol' Georgie.

Maybe, but many of the Zimmerman critics are conservative, and a lot of conservatives have a very negative and fearful view of marijuana.
