I don't respect people who don't do their job. They haven't done their job in the last four years, which is supposed to be reporting the news, not creating it or using it as a platform to push their agenda.
The general public doesn't even know the difference between opinion jockeys, reporters and anchors. That's what's sad.
Yep .... the so called "journalists" are now wannabe 'celebrities', more concerned with their PR, salary and access to the elite than any investigative reporting.
There are some exceptions and they deserve our support.
At the top, or close to the top is Sharyl Attkisson of CBS - she has an uphill battle as her boss has a brother as a close advisor to Obama. Glenn Greenwald does real journalist investigations. There are others, but they are few and far between these days.
you both hit the nail square on the head. back when i was growing up, the news, though slanted to the left, was still something you could believe in. unfortunately over the years since, the news has gotten to the point where it is slanted far to the left, in the case of most of the media, or to the right in the case of fox news, and we dont get the whole story anymore.
I make it a habit to switch back and forth from Fox and the others and weigh the evidence the best I can.
America has very few Journalists to begin with. We have multitudes of propaganda and public relations spin jockeys, but very few real Journalists.
Bingo.
