Rachel Jeantel has become a celebrity as of late, making the media rounds. She has said a few controversial things here or there. The latest, which would have been forced to get a lot of media play had she said it during the trial is that she believes that Trayvon hit Zimmerman first, because Zimmerman tried to detain him until the cops arrived.
If she is correct, does Zimmerman trying to detain Trayvon for the cops equal assault? Does citizen's arrest play in to this? Does Trayvon throwing the first punch make a difference?
Does this sway any minds or solidify any minds? She could be wrong.

And she has no idea if that even happened at all. Kind of hard to SEE what is going on over the damn phone. Her statements keep changing, she can't be believed at all.

There's no inconsistency there. She's always maintained that she believes GZ approached TM... and that's why TM said "why are you following me?"
