What burglary tools? A screwdriver? If that is your proof, we have millions (possibly billions) of people who are just thefts waiting for their opportunity to strike.
If a 16 year-old has a bunch of women's jewelry And a large flat-head screwdriver in his backpack And tells school cops a friend gave him the jewelry And won't name the friend, yea, that's fishy. In Fact, it's more evidence of probable cause to arrest than SPD had on gz.
It's not the number of arrests, it's the NATURE of them. Trayvon's school incidents involved vandalism (which to many is no big deal. Some glorify it as artistic graffiti) ,marijuana residue baggie (again, not uncommon among teens OR adults) and truancy (again, not great, but not indicative of a violent nature).
All of Zimmerman's past allegations have involved inflicting physical harm upon another person (domestic violence, assaulting an officer, molesting a relative).
So while they may have the same number of past incidents, the nature of Zimmerman's past charges reveal a darker character.
It is not necessary, rational, reasonable, adviseable, or even possible to have and refer to a database of all the crimes, violations, arrests, etc., of every piece of trash, or wanna-be trash that is in the area, so you might first look up the record of the person that is attempting to beat you to death after uttering to you those sweet words we all yearn to hear, "you are going to die tonight".
I didn't say I believe her testimony. I was responding to someone else who does, though and pointed out that, if we are to believe her testimony, that her testimony showed that the timeline allowed Trayvon to get far far away from any confrontation.
Nah, you were using her testimony as truth. Others have too. But only the parts that fit their narrative.
What thief stops for a snack prior to breaking into a home?
And there is no evidence Trayvon stopped and stared.
Yes there is. GZ said under lie detection that TM was walking next to houses & looking at houses. On GZ's recorded 911 call he said TM was looking about, just staring, somethings wrong with him, he's on drugs, he's got something in his hands, etc. Police found a Slim Jim burgulary tool in the bush where TM hid. TM's phone friend Rachel said after TM noticed security guard GZ looking at him TM said he was going to head back to the house. So he was not heading home when GZ spotted him next to houses & looking at them. It took TM over 40 minutes to get from 7-11 to where GZ spotted him & that time was confirmed by TM's phone friend Rachel.
Trayvon was walking along minding his P's and Q's.
Along came a creeper who stalked up behind him, and said, "What a dead boy are you."
So you were there and witnessed the whole incident?
I don't understand why people cannot just admit that no one knows what actually happened. The physical evidence is lacking and no eyewitnesses saw how the fight started, ergo, The People cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that GZ is guilty of the crimes. Any statment beyond the above is pure speculation to fit an agenda, which is happening by both sides.
so you don't see standing for your community as a member of Neghborhood Watch as honorable?
You don't think defending yourself from an 'addmitted murder attempt (Martin, RIH, uttertered to The Hon. Mr. Zimmerman, while in, ground-and-pound mode on The Honorable Mr. Zimmerman, "you're gonna die tonight") an honorable act?
I can easily tell what side of justic you are on (the injustuce side).
For the nth time: George Zimmerman was NOT acting in Neighborhood Watch capacity that night. If he had been acting in such capacity, he would have been guilty of violating a number of NW rules.

Trayvon was failed by his own people
1. Always blame the parents! Maybe you should start a thread about this on the Parenting forum. A lot of them think that.
2. Peer pressure is strong at 17. Do you have nothing in your background you're not proud of now?
3. Redundant, you've already blamed the parents. Of course, mothers come in for special blame. "Evil thy name is woman" in many ways. His mother was disciplining him. How do you know she didn't send him off to his dad's to get him away from some of these people who she thought were a bad influence on him?
4. Proof.
5. He was not 17 1/2, he was three weeks past his 17th birthday! He was not a football player any more; IIRC he hadn't played since middle school. He did have a kind of "baby face". He looks young, even in recent pictures.
trayvon was beboping along, peeping into homes, casing them for later
Don't forget to throw "trespassing" into the mix. You wanna walk down a block, down the street, use the sidewalk (that's the narrow strip of concrete next to the road. It is where non-criminals walk.
