This just triggered my irony meter because it reminded me of all the people claiming that racist white people would have killed Obama within his first year or two in office. (thankfully that didn't come to pass)

Then we just had the thread where they claimed everyone thinking there would be violence after the Zimmerman acquittal was some sort of racist.

Just an interesting walk down memory lane.
