I heard on the news this morning that Stevie Wonder is boycotting Florida due to the Trayvon Martin case.

This was a self defense case not SYG. Wouldn't it be better to find the corporate sponsors of the NRA and boycott. Also make sure people show up at the polls during midterm elections.

If your going to fight we have to fight smart not spend energy on things that won't make a difference?

Even as we speak Little Stevie Wonder is performing in Florida.

Of course, his handlers told him it was Texas.

"morals" and "ethics" tend to be discarded among liberals when there is money involved. "Ethics", for a liberal, are only taken out of the closet and dusted off when people are looking.

Florida is a VERY touristy state with lots of theme parks (among other things) and a major international city (Miami). A boycott by a bunch of chip-on-the-shoulder people is not going to make a dent in Florida's tourism industry.

Might make going to Florida even more appealing. Less lines at theme parks, less traffic, less people at beaches.

this might cause florida to go red in the next election. also, I have a feeling that people who are "outraged" over this case won't be missed in florida should they boycott.

Perhaps Stevie and likeminded souls should avoid states and countries where self defense is legal.

Of course, playing in North Korea and the Republic of Georgia all the time might get boring real quick.

You change the system from within, not with useless boycotts, marches or protests. Too bad their is no real leadership to preach that though. Energy needs to be used a lot more wisely.

Hopefully Obama will Boycott Florida (and Texas) .

Hope they don't have a Hurricane there this season and need Federal Disaster Relief. Forget that crap.
