just move a lot of military bases and place them along the entire length of the border. have the troops deal with it, good practice for training troops

No, it would be too costly and would add yet another fed agency to be taxpayer supported. Look at TSA. We've spent $100 Billion since 2001 on an agency which doesnt care about americans civil liberties. Every few years, they come out with some"new, improved technology" to catch thosemuslims even better. Just like the military industrial complex, you'd saddle the poor taxpayer with even more debt to an out of control gov't.

But that wouldn't be very much fun, not to mention it would make Republicans look like hypocrites as it would make them appear to be fiscally conservative since that would be much more cost effective.
Maybe those who feel it's necessary can just build a fence around themselves...you know, to protect you from all those brown people. You can take it wherever you go---handy.

illegals cost this nation about 200,000,000,000 a year, a fence would cost at most 60,000,000,000 to build..so by default we are saving money just building it.
Good jobs project ;wish they had thought of that in those shovel ready jobs. All that money going to special interest.
