just move a lot of military bases and place them along the entire length of the border. have the troops deal with it, good practice for training troops

If you want to stop drugs or illegal immigration, the approach is the same: curtail demand not supply. Serious penalties for employers of illegals would make the whole problem (including the one of 12 million illegals already here) go away very quickly.

great point, but a border fence would work just by it being there, as for the TSA, get rid of it.

But that wouldn't be very much fun, not to mention it would make Republicans look like hypocrites as it would make them appear to be fiscally conservative since that would be much more cost effective.

Build a fence, those who want to come to this country can come through proper legal channels. They should also speed up the immigration process.

illegals cost this nation about 200,000,000,000 a year, a fence would cost at most 60,000,000,000 to build..so by default we are saving money just building it.

Aren't you the one always harping about we should still do it even though it might not work?
