Air power will be useless in a domestic situation. Unless our dear, benevolent, government is willing to order the obliteration of entire communities, out of hand, because "insurrectionists" MAY be hiding there. Military air assets have become, quite, dependent, on precision. This is, also, the mindset that military operations have geared training towards.

Our military, though capable of it, does not operate on scorched earth strategy and tactics. Not unless, there is ABSOLUTE, certainty, that "collateral damage" is kept to bare minimum. A wholesale slaughter, of thousands of American citizens, to take out POSSIBLE combatants, mixed in, would not fly. Not even for an E5, manning a drone console.

Plus think about how many more "insurrectionist" they would create by doing such.

Yes, indeedy! Hardly what could be called a good "hearts and minds "campaign. Plus, putting boots on the ground would see mass defections of men and equipment. Hell, just let Holder run the show! We would have all the guns we could ever need in a week.

You mean the ninja forces from DHS? Whooo hooo!! The "gubmint" won't try and overtly go stomping around trying to kick in doors. At least, not for a while. Obama and company, or, maybe the next Democrat prez, need to get some kind of "global initiative" , regarding personal arms, ratified first. My bets are on Obama to try to do it though. He wants the credit for it in his list of "accomplishments". The UN and the Obama administration are a match made in the Hubs of Hell. Given enough breathing space, they would have an orgy with our Constitution.

It is impressive though, the trust and faith Dems have in their Imperious Leader. However it is, that liberty ends up dieing, it will be Bushs' fault. Lmao.

Why not, cons had and still have so much faith in Bush that they wish him would be president again.
