Exactly. Ours happens to play jazz when they're not playing NPR programming. Others play classical music.

I have only recently started listening to NPR and i dont really understand what the hate is about. 80% of it is classical music. 10% is them repeating the same news blast over and over again. And the other 10% is talk shows.

NPR isn't a music station.

Luckily for us in Dallas, we have an excellent NPR affiliate (KERA 90.1) and an outstanding public music station (KXT, 91.7). If you want music, don't listen to NPR. Seriously?!?!?!?!
