Not if you double the wage again.

By the way, why do people have to work for minimum wage? The fact is that they choose to work that job. Go find a job that pays $100K and problem solved without increasing the minimum wage.

Silly me for not getting a $100K job!

With all the illegal aliens waitin' on Congress to do its thing, thousands of workers may be striking for jobs. They can be easily replaced. Then they may be striking for full time work when Obamacare kicks in.

The time to start thinking about how much money you will make when you are an adult is when you are goofing off in High School, doing drugs and/or getting pregnant or getting your girlfriend pregnant.

That's the thing. You can't double min wage and not double all others. If I make $30/hr and min wage was $15/hr, how is that even fair to everyone else? Why is my job now only worth 2 times what a fry cooker makes when I am taking on the stress and responsibility of keeping a state government's IT systems running and the public connected to their resources and programs? I had to spend a ton of money to get the schooling/training, then take tests that I PAID FOR to get certifications. Not to mention all the ongoing training needed to stay on the cutting edge. Like I said, you can't double only min wage, you HAVE to double almost all other wages too to keep the ratio.

I worked at a fast food joint in high school....what do they expect? It's not a skill....so if they get paid $15 an hour..how much would I pay for a hamburger?

I thought it was funny when the news interviewed some worker and he said "McDonalds is making billions and billions of dollars, we should get a cut."

I'll try that with my employer...

I asked for a hamburger once with nothing on it.

They gave me a bun with nothing..not even the meat
I went back and the person at the register was confused when I asked where was my burger.
The folks in line were laughing and shaking their heads.

High caliber folks behind those registers.

I'd bring a film crew and ask, where's the beef?
