Yeah (not) for Kentucky wanting to keep their religious dogma instead of teaching kids true science and critical thinking skills.

Yes, the sky daddy is what created all the things around you. there is no such thing as evolution!

Next Generation Science Standards In Kentucky Draw Hostility From Religious Groups

Quote:
The Kentucky Board of Education adopted the standards in June and held hearings to get public feedback on the standards last week before they were presented to the state legislature for official approval.

Matt Singleton, a Baptist minister, is one of the opponents who spoke to the board about why the standards should not be adopted, according to The Courier-Journal. “Outsiders are telling public school families that we must follow the rich man’s elitist religion of evolution, that we no longer have what the Kentucky Constitution says is the right to worship almighty God,” Singleton said. “Instead, this fascist method teaches that our children are the property of the state.”

Did you ever watched The Duggar's show? One time they went to that creationist museum, you know, the one that has a diorama of a dinosaur with a saddle on it's back? Yeah, that one. So, they loaded up their chattel & drove on out there. At one point, ole Billy Bob was talking to the camera about evolution (he's such an expert) & claimed, and I quote, that evolution "is not scientific". I have a real good idea that he has no idea what scientific means.

And "elitist." Don't forget "elitist."

(Always wondered: When someone whines about the "elite," what, exactly, are they saying about themselves?)

LOL, don't you always suspect they were the losers in high school? Still bitter about it to this day.

"Kentucky" said no such thing. According to your post, "The Kentucky Board of Education adopted the standards in June and held hearings to get public feedback on the standards last week before they were presented to the state legislature for official approval." They have heard dissent from some people.

Knowledge is spooky. Making observations through study and experimentation of our natural world is very bad...

Are you denying the really bad things that are attributed to science?

Alot of losers that have an agenda against religion love to point out how evil it is....but there IS good that comes out of it as well.

and science is no different...but humans are the common denominator of trash. They are the catalyst for everything bad that comes from both.

You're a grown person on the internet mocking and calling names and they're bitter?

Certainly, the poor mans' ignorance and superstition should be followed, instead. Way to go!
