Your hero had both houses in the first two years of his regime.

And even then he couldn't pass a budget.

congress is House and Senate.

republican congress persons is 234 + 47. 281 [majority of congress]

demos 201 + 53 254

83% of Ameircans hate Republicans more.

While, true, that isnt what most people think when they are polled. You ask someone to name their congressman. I would bet you 100 dollars they would only name their House member and neither of their senators.
