Even the Lord did not feed everyone nor heal everyone. He was selective it seems. Using our wisdom and instincts in dealing with people we meet daily is not anti-faith nor anti-christian. Personally, I give to Samaritan's Purse because I am convinced they manage money well and indeed serve the poor and needy. Same with Salvation Army here in our community which provides shelter and food. Our First Baptist Church feeds hundreds of people daily. Bottom line, there is NO reason for the needy, the homeless to go without around here. Oddly enough, our very progressive government has no programs for the homeless or down and outs. Hmmmmm.....
