Shifting further to the right will only further alienate moderate Democrat's-- like me-- who do occasionally vote for Republicans.
If Republicans had to rely on Moderate Democrat votes to win elections they would be toast, thankfully that's not the case.

even by this site one can tell easily that the problem is overabundance of RINOs and that's why people do not vote.

the Rinos in Washington dont vote for primary candidates. If you were honest with everyone, you would admit Mitt should have never been the Nominee.

You can blame Rinos...but Rinos is what the Republican party has become.

Tell us this- who was the most conservative nominee[of those that ran] last round, that you believe should have been the nominee...

That's exactly my point. Every Democrat likes to give advice on how Republicans can win elections against Democrats and it always ended up being "Be more like Democrats". Being more like Democrats is the last thing conservative voters want from their elected officials.

You can be as conservative as you wish...just please name the last "conservative" president or conservative nominee in the last 50 years. Please be serious and dont say RReagan.

Anybody to the left of the tea party lunatics is now considered a leftist...classic left ideology. I really love the idea that people who actually read, comprehend and want the federal government to abide by the Constitution - the TEA Party in this instance - are considered lunatics.

Few to none truly know what left/right or liberal/conservative truly mean and that is a shame. They think they know what democrat and republican means and then claim we live in a democracy.

This county is going the direction of Europe at current time and when our economy tanks it will be a major disaster to the world. When the people of Cyprus found their accounts frozen it was shocking here. If and when it happens here it will be a different ballgame. If this nation doesn't revert back to some conservative values we are toast. The liberals progressive mindset is going to bring this country down like an out of control demolition.

We've never had a conservative POTUS in my lifetime.

RINOs for President will never actually BECOME president anymore. Conservatives stay home when a RINO is the nominee.
