I certainly agree that the Union would have better public relations if they did their picketing in such a way as to not disturb funerals, child or otherwise.
I am still trying to figure out the reason for the giant rat.
Would love to know WHY they were protesting at a funeral. But, as usual, right wing news omit facts from stories as long as unions get bashed. Nobody protests a funeral just for the fun of it. No teamsters protested at my grandfather's or nephew's funeral, so let's cut the crap and get down to the bottom of it
This is the reason people who depend on fox news for information are seriously deficient on facts before forming opinions.
Protesting funerals is despicable and low class. Not surprising coming from a Chicago union.
What does it matter what I think? I want some facts, something that the article omitted
Here you go. And the allegation that teamsters were harassing family members is an allegation made by? You guessed it. The funeral directors.
Here's the other side of the coin:
""They’re feeling the pain from business going down and they’re making false allegations," Brian Rainville said. "The court didn’t make any indication that these allegations were true -- the court basically did nothing but say ‘obey the law,’ which is what we’re doing."

The information in the article indicates they are unionized funeral workers protesting a funeral home during a funeral.
That's about all the information you need to form an opinion. There is certain things you don't do and causing a scene at someones funeral is one of them.
I found one other article on it. They're protesting funeral homes, all right, but apparently they are also doing it during funerals. I find this reprehensible. Plus they rejected a 9% pay hike before getting to this point.
Of course, this is an outlier, just like the Westboro Baptist Church. But it won't stop the cons on this board from using it to represent all unions, all the time. Oh well.
Oh ok then. We'll just forget about it; it doesn't count. "Isolated incident".

Good Lord..there's posters here defending the union and trying to dismiss this as a "one off" ?
In this case what they are doing is despicable.
There's the difference. Westboro Baptists picket a funeral and we're as outraged as everyone else. Unions picket during a funeral and some come here to justify why it's OK for them to do so.
