Your'e the one that made the claim that the same people protesting are the ones applying for permits.

The number of people who protest anything, let alone guns, is extremely small. So statistically speaking, it's not likely they are the same people.

Logically, it also doesn't make sense that anti gun activists would apply for permits. Is it possible, yes, is it likely, no.
