Check out this piece from Forbes back in 2008. This guy nailed it. I've been saying for a while now that the Progressivism is actually Fabian Socialism, which is what Obama and Hillary, etc. are.

Quote:
Barack Obama is a Fabian socialist. I should know; I was raised by one. My Grandfather worked as a union machinist for Ingersoll Rand during the day. In the evenings he tended bar and read books. After his funeral, I went back home and started working my way through his library, starting with T.W. Arnold’s The Folklore of Capitalism. This was my introduction to the Fabian socialists.
Fabians believed in gradual nationalization of the economy through manipulation of the democratic process. Breaking away from the violent revolutionary socialists of their day, they thought that the only real way to effect “fundamental change” and “social justice” was through a mass movement of the working classes presided over by intellectual and cultural elites. Before TV it was stage plays, written by George Bernard Shaw and thousands of inferior “realist” playwrights dedicated to social change. John Cusack’s character in Woody Allen’s “Bullets Over Broadway” captures the movement rather well.

Much more at the link.

The Fabian Society Exposed - YouTube

Quote:
The Fabian Society originated in England in 1884, with the purpose of forming a single, global socialist state. They get their name from the Roman general Fabius, who used carefully planned strategies to slowly wear down his enemies over a long period of time to obtain victory.

"Fabian Socialism" uses incremental change over a long period of time to slowly transform a state as opposed to using violent revolution for change. It is essentially socialism by stealth, a slow march towards World Government.

Barack Obama, Fabian Socialist - Forbes
Do you really think Blankfein or Dimon or Soros or Tillerson will ever be less powerful than the executive office?

It is impossible. They can take down the entire world economy in one trading day.

We live in a Facist Corporatocracy. Big business is Government.

Simply amazing how accurate this guy was. Obama administration was taken to court for with-holding drilling permits, just as this guy predicted. Obama made speeches about companies hoarding money, just as this guy predicted. Obama immediately went to a national healthcare plan, just as this guy predicted.

His description of Obamacare was very accurate but that's not entirely surprising as people already knew at the time he wrote the article what the new healthcare system was going to be in general terms. But the rest of what he said is uncanny.

You don't come this close to a bulls eye without it being the truth. Everything this administration is doing is documented in a history book somewhere. They are following the script very closely. Why does anyone think that there are so many academia fools tied to this admin?

Yea, how could anyone have known that Obama was going to propose health care reform -- unless you listened to his 2007-2008 campaign promises. Government is always sued by oil companies when they rule in a way the oil company disagrees. No surprise there.
