They do indeed employ bus staff. And if someone came in and misbehaved as these parents did, they'd find themselves being escorted out.

If you don't like being called out for what your post implies you are, I suggest you go pound sand.

Lazy, low-class trashy people tend to raise lazy, low-class trashy people who act like lazy, low-class trashy people as adults.

Give them a few Ritalin & they will be swinging from the drapes. lol Ritalin is nothing more than kiddie speed for A.D.D. It might work though, wire em up & give em brooms. hoho

I'm sure she'd/he'd fit in well at Red Lobster or Olive Garden too. There she/he can haggle for free biscuits and breadsticks, so that her/his juvenile urchins can crumb them all over the floor.

Restaurants that I eat at have a broom with dust pan at every waiter station and the tables are wiped off and floors swept as a matter of routine

Do you have any data to back that up?

Oh, you disappoint me, Chiefy. You're going with the, "You think you're so good, don't you!?!?" bit?

Well pounding sand at the restaurant may create a mess on the floor which would upset you folks even more. I sure hope you aren't around if somebody spills a drink and a busser has to come by with a towel. I bet you flip your lid. How dare somebody run out of napkins to wipe that spill up right. lol

When did the idea that everyone has to put up with my child, instead of I have an obligation to make my child behave, make it into mainstream? When did the idea that everyone in the place should sacrifice their plans to enjoy a quiet dinner because I don't want to sacrifice my evening's plans just because MY children are acting like brats, make it to the mainstream? That is what I find amazing. I actually love children but there are times and places where they belong. Children who can not go into a café without disturbing other patrons do not belong there. I have a far, far higher tolerance level for misbehaving kids at McDonald's than I do at a nice sit down restaurant, café, or coffee house. I figure in McDonald's it is all part of the package. I also have a higher tolerance for it during the day than I do in the evenings.
