Yet another deflection. Why not just answer the question?

How does any one of us know what is normal behavior in these cases?
We have groups stating that they waited one, two, seven years to be approved.

Of course those who want to believe that there is some sort of persecution of only certain groups dismiss these FACTS out of hand when they are reported by anyone other than TEA or other conservative groups.

If any TEA, etc. group is approved in less time than any liberal group, how can anyone argue that this process isn't "normal" or that they have been selected for extra scrutiny?

And just because groups on one side of the aisle choose to whine and cloak themselves in victim-hood, as so many on the right choose to do, doesn't mean that their tantrums are at all reflective of reality.

Just admit that you believe that the groups that you approve of should be granted tax-exempt status just because and stop pretending otherwise.

Apparently is soooo "inexcusable" that he hasn't even bothered to tell them to freaking stop doing it yet.

When the kitchen get's too hot .,... they send in new cook and start the Stall and deflect process all over again,
When will people who buy into Obama's lies wake up to reality. If Obama really thinks what the IRS did was outrageous, then why is he allowing them to continue to do it?

You're right, one day it's politically advantageous for Obama to call it outrageous, and the next day it's a phony scandal.

Gateway Pundit has the story now too:

Unreal. Obama IRS Agents Continue to Target Conservatives in ‘Phony’ Scandal | The Gateway Pundit

The Obama IRS Scandal involves:
** At least 292 conservative groups targeted
** At least 5 pro-Israel groups targeted
** Constitutional groups targeted
** Groups that criticized Obama administration were targeted
** At least two pro-life groups targeted
** A Texas voting-rights group was targeted
** Conservative activists and businesses were targeted.
** At least 88 IRS agents were involved in the targeting scandal
** At least one conservative Hispanic group was targeted
** No liberal groups suffered the same type of scrutiny from the IRS – Not one

And yet, despite these facts, the IRS continues to target conservative groups.

IRS agent: Tax agency is still targeting Tea Party groups | WashingtonExaminer.com

In a remarkable admission that is likely to rock the Internal Revenue Service again, testimony released Thursday by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp reveals that an agent involved in reviewing tax exempt applications from conservative groups told a committee investigator that the agency is still targeting Tea Party groups, three months after the IRS scandal erupted..

In closed door testimony before the House Ways & Means Committee, the unidentified IRS agent said requests for special tax status from Tea Party groups is being forced into a special "secondary screening" because the agency has yet to come up with new guidance on how to judge the tax status of the groups.
Question: Do organizations have an entitlement to tax-exempt status? If you answered NO, then the IRS has a duty to investigate that the group is qualified under the tax code to receive this exemption. That's not harassment, that's their job.

Since this issue has such a magnifying glass under it, it sure makes sense to look at Tea Party groups using a special "secondary screening."

The problem is that the tax code says that NO political organizations may be tax exempt under either 501c3 or 501c4. The IRS regulations are less stringent. Fine, then go by what Congress passed and Tea Party groups would not be eligible for tax exempt status.

Just admit that you dont want to know what the truth is. Would it be good for us to learn more? Yes, but will we? Probably not. And that would sit just fine with you. And if it turned out that yes, the Tea Party groups do get more scrutiny, chances are you on the left AND some in the GOP would be just fine with that. You would love to see groups like the Tea Party disappear and be back to the same old same old Democrats vs GOP, the same old establishment thats been in power for far too long.

If we are ever to get back to what this nation was founded on, to get the nation really back on track and return it to the People, the establishment must be heavily challenged. And right now, the only group attempting to do that is the Tea Party. I am sick of the establishment. Im sick of side A versus side B, yet together in harmony on several things.

Really?
reviewing tax exempt status applications is one thing, they should all be properly reviewed which means following the guidelines and the laws governing the tax status being applied for. however when an application process that normally takes six months is stretched out over three years, and questionnaires are sent out that go far beyond the bounds of the law, THAT is when the IRS needs to be scrutinized as they are the ones breaking the laws.

the IRS MUST treat EVERY group EQUALLY under the law, with no exceptions.

Oh, stop it.

The "truth" for too many is whatever they want it to be. As long as the "truth" doesn't jive with what you want to believe, it can't possibly be the "truth," right?
Those who want to believe that the TEA, etc. groups have been persecuted have willfully ignored the FACT that they were not the only groups that experienced delays.

When you accept that a) the original study was flawed and designed to produce skewed results, and b) that the TEA groups ARE political in nature and should be thoroughly examined, maybe I'll buy some of the hysteria.
Until then, keep whining. It's what y'all do best.

Really?

IF these groups were being treated like everyone else, then you would have a point. Since they are being treated differently, with special attention that makes it vastly harder for them to be approved, you dont have a point.

Really.
