guess they just cannot help themselves over at the 0bama admin. apparently they will just keep doing this until some higher authority orders them to stop, and it won't happen if 0bama is that higher authority, they are apparently following his orders after all.

IRS agent: Tax agency is still targeting Tea Party groups | WashingtonExaminer.com

In a remarkable admission that is likely to rock the Internal Revenue Service again, testimony released Thursday by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp reveals that an agent involved in reviewing tax exempt applications from conservative groups told a committee investigator that the agency is still targeting Tea Party groups, three months after the IRS scandal erupted..

In closed door testimony before the House Ways & Means Committee, the unidentified IRS agent said requests for special tax status from Tea Party groups is being forced into a special "secondary screening" because the agency has yet to come up with new guidance on how to judge the tax status of the groups.

Obama: IRS-tea party actions "inexcusable" | wzzm13.com

President Obama says a government watchdog's report shows intolerable and inexcusable behavior by the Internal Revenue Service in targeting tea party groups.

Obama says he's asked Treasury Secretary Jack Lew to hold accountable those responsible and to ensure it never happens again. He says regardless of how it happened, it was wrong.

Apparently is soooo "inexcusable" that he hasn't even bothered to tell them to freaking stop doing it yet.

There is a huge conflict between IRS regulation and tax code as it relates to 501 (c) 4 exemptions. Rather than fix it or eliminate the exemption, Congress seems to prefer to cluck-cluck.

An Illinois Md. was favored to win the race for the 13th district congressional seat. Then The American Action Network spent $1.5 million on attack ads and false accusations about the MD's positions. He lost.

Instead of licking his wounds, the MD rolled up his sleeves and began his own investigation of this organization. He learned, from public records, that $17/27 million raised was spent on lobbying.
He also learned the CEO, a former Senator, was being paid $237K for a 20 hour work week.

Then he got mad and decided to sue the IRS for exempting an lobbying organization.

Watch what they DO, not what they SAY.

Obama has always been a Double Down President - the reality is, who is going to stop them from doing whatever they want? Eric Holder in the DOJ?

One day Obama says "it's outrageous" - weeks later, "it's Phony". We have a revolving door leadership with no accountability (but plenty of high dollar bonus money) in the Treasury and IRS and not a single soul fired.

When the kitchen get's too hot .,... they send in new cook and start the Stall and deflect process all over again,

Until there is some real congressional oversight, why should they stop.

Checks and balances doesn't work when one party in congress goes along with the abuse and the other is afraid to do anything.

Are people suggesting that these applications should not be reviewed and should simply be approved because these groups want tax-exempt status?

Really?
