These aren't burger flipper jobs.

Over the next 30,40,50 years the country will be split into a much more liberal verses conservative geography. The two ideologies were always at odds but this administration has created a full blown war by pushing agendas one against the other based on race, social status and economic status. I believe he destroyed every bit of progress this country has tried to make in the last 60 years. So, seeing people and businesses start to migrate to states that have similar ideologies is going to happen over time. Hell, in 50 years we could be divided like we were before. North verses South, liberal verses conservative.

The difference this time will be the liberals won't have guns or any money to fight a war and they will have to cross into conservative territory to work, at least the few who actually do work. I suspect though you will be able to get some awesome pot there though... They can have President Wrangell and Vice President Pelosi. LMAO!! Wouldn't that be an absolute cluster. Oorah!

Not a gun maker, sorry....you just don't throw open a gun shop without thousands and thousands of $$$...

And yes, in a good economy you are correct, have you been paying attention to how the economy is right now? Evidently not...

What many don't seem to understand is the effect the moves will have on subcontractors many of which are small family run machine shops. None of the manufacturers make a complete weapon, lock, stock and barrel...

Still small qty of jobs, Ct's industry with suppliers is 2,200 jobs, and that includes corp hq of Sturn Ruger, which produces no weapons in Ct.

VW Chattanooga has more supplier jobs..ON site..let along all over Tn and Ga.

Since the possibility of further left wing extremist laws is very real, any gun manufacturer with a brain is wise to leave such a jurisdiction for places run by friendlier state governments.
Let me make it simple, NY's gun laws will remain long after they're gone. This amounts to stamping their feet if more restrictive gun laws are the real reason behind their move, I don't think that is the case. Many states have different safety laws, using that logic we will see companies departing states with more severe laws on alcohol and tobacco, any one with a brain can see that as a solution.
