I think probably because she hadn't prayed for a drunken driver to hit her. Pay attention.
Outstanding!! Pure genius!!
For all of the poo pooers out there ... we can sense and perceive only about 17% of what we know, scientifically is there. So dismissing what you are not aware of as not there, is a rather bad bet. Chances are, there are many more things that we don't even know is there .. including angels, which, by the way, are the subject of many claimed countless encounters, documented and dating back hundreds of years. It's not wise to reject anything that resides outside of your knowledge and awareness.
So many lost sheep so little time....Why are you people still blaming God when that drunk driver hit her ?
Some of you are so full of youselves you really notice nothing but self interests of worldly things. The Book of Job will answer why bad things happen to good people but you put more faith in Harry Potter than your God,your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ,the Holy Spirit.God loves a stubborn person or people...
It's so sad that a nice story like this gets such boorish comments. Sometimes it's better to just find another thread if your heart is so pickled that you can't feel good about an uplifting story.
I think everyone here is happy that this turned out the way it did, given the fact a terrible accident that could've easily resulted in death took place.
It's pretty disingenuous to say just because some people aren't jumping to the completely baseless, unfounded conclusion that angels, deities or some other miraclous, divine intervention necessarily occurred makes those people boors or lacking in sympathy or emotion.

I'm really not seeing the hate here. Some sarcasm, yes.
Do you really feel that if someone essentially says "I don't think we can say for certain that angels were involved or miracles happened regarding this incident" that they are seething with hatred and can be compared to members of the Taliban?
Seems a pretty big stretch, not to mention pretty hateful in its own right.

So, it is not up for dicussion? We should just blindly accept that this was a miraculous event in which Yahweh sent an angel to intervene in the situation?

Are you saying God had nothing to do with the accident--bears no responsibility for it, etc., but that God deserves all the credit for her life not ending?

What's wrong with putting more faith in Harry Potter than god? And which god are we talking about here?
You keep trying to prove something doesn't exist by continuing to post in this thread...
Nobody has to do anything whatsoever to "prove" things like angels, demons and gods don't exist.
The onus is on people claiming such invisible supernatural beings exist to provide some evidence or proof of their existence.
If I say "There is a leprechaun living next door to me that rides a unicorn around my neighborhood" then it's not up to YOU or anyone else to prove the unicorn-riding leprechaun doesn't exist; it's up to ME to prove he does.
A more concrete example: if, in a court of law, I am on trial for murder but my defense is that I hear voices in my head compelling me to commit heinous acts, it is not up to the prosecution to prove those voices don't exist, it is up to my defense attorney to prove that either the voices actually exist or that I suffer some neurological affliction that makes me perceive such voices, believe them to be real and feel forced to do their bidding.

See how that works?
Nobody cares who lives next to you.
If you want to start a thread about unicorns living next to you, I'll laugh and move on. I certainly won't waste time with post after post after post trying to convince you those things really aren't unicorns.
You will one day find out that God and angels indeed are real. I'll wait.
