I think you mean write, and as schools dont have "agendas" now? at least it would have an "agenda" based on learning not social engineering English, writing, chemistry, math( at minimum trigonometry and physics) US history, Civics (a full year at minimum on the Bill Of Rights, The Constitution, and the role of government)
PE were you have fun, and developed the winning mentality( like kick ball, dodge-ball ball, maybe paint ball..ect)
Selling your soul? so its ok to send kids into failed school all in the name of keep the teacher unions alive? I mean kids are blasted with ads, have you watch one hour of nickelodeon? or cartoon network?
You are aware that nickelodeon and cartoon network are private companies, and that is what happens when you let the private sector educate our youth. Apparently that is what you want our school systems to be more like.
and what if urban area have more representatives? so many that the rural areas can have their issues addressed?
Then elect better politicians, seriously, do their politicians go to Denver and just sit on their hands while watching the big kids work? If they cared about the rural part of the state, they would go to Denver and present their issues in a way to make the urban parts of the state agree with them.
Although I bet you that the rural part of the state gets plenty of attention from Denver, it is just they aren't getting everything they want, and based on your screen name, I bet it is really only one issue you care about.

I want something that works, clearly what we have is not working.

you can elect the best statesman to office(politicians are scum) it does not matter if the opposition has a greater number of representatives via higher population.
I do care about all firearm and firearm related issues, but I do care about education, taxes, immigration, energy, but I also care about cultural issues as well...

That is funny cause in Oregon we have a good representation of both conservatives and liberal in the state and as a state it does a good job making sure both rural and urban are taken care of.
Also, you act like there are no Republicans in office in Colorado that represents the Cons.
The 2012 Colorado elections resulted in a change in majority party status for the House (37 Democrats; 28 Republicans) and the Democrats retained their majority in the Senate (20 Democrats; 15 Republicans)
The Democrats may have the majority, but there are more than enough Republicans to push the issues of the conservative base. So basically you are whining because the Cons aren't getting everything they want.
I would not less popular, smaller government and the ideas the follow at making a massive comeback...liberalism on the other hand only 20 to 22 percent of Americans would label themselves as liberal, that number has dropped greatly over the last 10 years...
We would prevent this, here a few methods, no motor voter laws, part time state legislators, governor has line item vote power, with out a full time state legislator it is very hard(all be it not impossible) to use and abuse the power of the state..
We don't have a Democracy, we never did, we had a Constitutional republic, now we have a statist oligarchy 535 members of congress, 9 members of the Supreme court, and the president of the united states, each day concentrating more and more power of the free people of the United States.
At this point I can't tell if you are serious or if this is all some elaborate Poe post. If the latter, I say bravo, it almost seemed real for awhile.
If you are serious, it is becoming obvious that you have put about the same thought into this that a golden retriever does in that split second before they run out into the busy street to chase a ball.
Did I say that? do you think America`s schools are doing the best they could?
Actually you did say that when you mentioned that schools could have private sponsorships. That is what happens when you start tacking on a private company's name on the side of a building. They want to know what they are gonna get out of their investment and are gonna want to make sure the schools turn a profit.
