Lots of cities/states are doing that now because these "peaceful" protests seem to all end in violence.
Chicago requires a permit. Washington DC requires a permit.
Why single out Wisconsin OP ?
Chicago and DC do not fall under the constitutional rights afforded in the WI constitution.
