right. we are talking about liberals who think adding 7 trillion dollars to the debt in 5 years is no big deal.... whats a million bucks among freinds?
I asked for fact. Meaning, a link. Can you provide that?
Walker has issued a mandate requiring any group larger than 4 people who go to the Capitol grounds to first have a permit. This mandate is in direct opposition to the state constitution which affords the citizens this right:
"The right of the people, peaceably to assemble, to consult for the common good, and to petition their government, or any department thereof, shall never be abridged."
-- Wisconsin State Constitution, Article 1, Section 4
If you'd posted in a calm and reasoned way, you might have made a point. It still would have been suspect since it's obviously partisan, but at least it would have been rational. But as it is, your post is such outrageous hyperbole, comparing needing a permit to the genocide of millions, that you end up just looking ridiculous.

nearly half of all states do not allow protests inside their capitol buildings, a state journal survey has found. Of the 26 states that do allow protesters to rally inside their capitol buildings, all but six require some form of permit to hold even a small demonstration..
Not at all. Both are constitutional rights that also would require a permit to practice.
You have such poor logic. You actually think Hitler (millions dead) is like Walker. Now you keep ignoring that you don't need a permit to protest the government in Wisconsin. You need a permit to gather for anything at a specific location of the capitol building in order to maintain order...a law that most states now have including blue states...and the national government.
What is funny is how supportive of the democratic most liberals are until things don't go their way. Wisconsin is a case study in this very issue. A sneaky (R) weasled his way into the Governor's Mansion, so the libs sat in the wings until he did something they thought they could rally the troops behind. In this case, his move to limit collective bargaining. Not eliminate, but limit to stop the public sector unions from draining the budget. So, the libs rallied the troops, occupied the Capitol, disrupted the function of government, and held a recall election. Democrat officials even fled the state to avoid a vote when it became clear that the majority of the citizens of Wisconsin agreed with the Governor. When they held the recall election, the libs whinged and moaned about "outside influence" and "outside money", the whole while asking the public to ignore the fact that many of the union members gathering in the capitol building were from outside the state, and many of labor leader blasting their cause to the press were not Wisconsin public union members but labor union members from places like the IBT, AFL-CIO, SEIU, etc.
Now that their efforts to a) oppose the limits to collective bargaining despite the overwhelming support by the citizens of Wisconsin, and b) unseat Gov. Walker through a recall election have failed, they are continuing to grasp at straws to force their will. Nothing in the new rules prevents the voice of any citizen from being heard. It simply requires groups of more than 20 to gain a permit. Wow....insurmountable task there. The liberal mantra, never let a scandal (real, or in this case perceived) go to waste.
Ugh, requiring a permit does not necessarily mean gatherings are curtailed. Now if Governor Walker were to ask about the content of a group's prayer, that might constitute abridgement. Luckily, school starts soon in Wisconsin.

I doubt liberals will respond to the specific points within your post.
One thing that liberals ignore and needs to be brought back up is the following:
In Wisconsin, as with many public unions across the country, the public teacher's union owned their own health insurance provider that they used to exploit tax payer money. Some of the money exploited away from public schools went to Democrat campaign chests - coincidentally the same politicians screaming "won't someone think of the children!"
Here is how the Public Teacher's Unions and Democrats exploit school/government/tax payer money.
1) Create a health insurance provider owned or in cahoots with the public union.
2) Use the union's collective bargaining to create a monopoly at the local school district level contract negotiations for the health insurance provider owned by the union.
3A) Since the school district can now only negotiate with the union owned health insurance provider, overcharge them for the health insurance service provided by up to 30% or even 40% above fair market value of what other health insurance providers would charge.
3B) This means that some larger school districts literally were losing a million or more dollars a school year. Even medium sized school districts were overpaying for health insurance to the tune of several hundred thousand dollars a year.
3C) This means that school districts have less money to spend on kids and teachers. Less new books, less new computers, less repairs of leaky roofs, keeping pay to play sports, not hiring that extra teacher, not giving teachers that raise.
4) Much of the exploited money goes to Democrat's campaign chests, of course these Democrats gladly take the money, look the other way, and then campaign that schools don't have enough money.
No wonder FDR was opposed to Public Unions. Yet Walker is "Hitler" to these idiots for saying no more exploiting school money like this.
P.S. I am a teacher that has worked on this issue before.
they also say that because they're not an organized group no one can assume responsibility for any damages to the building, as a permit would require.
Bingo!
Free speech? Fine. Just bear responsibility for the costs to repair/clean-up any damage/filth you cause or leave behind in the process. Permit required in which someone or some entity accepts financial responsibility. No reason taxpayers should shoulder the costs.
