Bad news continues to come from Fukushima, and now we are finding out the situation is basically out of control.
There is currently somewhere between 300 and 600 tons of radioactive water spilling into the pacific ocean every day, and no way to stop it. There are concerns about the containment of the cores, and there is evidence that some larger migrating fish like bluefin tuna are accumulating long term radiation.
Funny how little of this is being covered by the evening news.

It hasn't been covered much since the first week this thing went down. Apparently nobody cares. One would think Bob Barker and his boys would be more upset about something like this than the whalers from Japan. Haven't heard a peep from em though.

Unless it can be spun as a left vs right blame game it won't get much attention here at C-D either.

I get my news from the Internet & from CNN or MSNBC on in the background in the mornings. I've heard it mentioned but not as much as Washington politics, George Zimmerman, or Kardashian coverage.

Alex Jones and Natural News have been covering it, along with other alternative sources. Time for people to quit depending on the mainstream for information that really matters.

Yeah this has been out of control from the beginning. The alternative media has been covering this. The govts can't deal with it so they raise radioactive standards, stop monitoring etc... Commerce must continue. Nuclear power gets special cover up. There is all kind of nasty nuclear evidence everywhere, but little discussed.

Corp news is owned by govt so don't expect much info from them either. This is very bad. W/o proper equipment, expertise and much testing it is easy to let it remain invisible. Many common illnesses can be brought on by exposure to ionizing radiation especially when it is chronic. i.e environmental contamination and the food chain. They are burning radioactive waste in Japan so it helps spread the contaminates, nm the ocean and atmosphere. So more people are exposed thus skewing data. This is global especially northern hemisphere.

What do you expect from people that think all the news comes from either the pro-Obama or anti-Obama media sources and which they subscribe to for their daily updates through their email account. They don't look for the news beyond Obama, all the news that they need to know comes to them.

I'm not sure what news should be reported that isn't. Is the OP looking for that SNL sketch, where every newscast mentioned, "Francisco Franco is dead"? News reports what changes - not a daily recounting of what's the same as yesterday.

Stupid to build nuclear reactors in a tsunami zone.
