That's not what he was fired for though. Playing what if doesn't change the situation at hand. Now one has to grow up in a rodeo to comment on a guy fired for wearing an Obama mask at said rodeo? Not just fired but apparently banned for life?
He should have been fired and banned for wearing ANY MASK, because it's a serious breach of safety. Somebody could get killed if he can't see what's going on clearly.

But he wasn't fired for safety reasons. He was fired because of his politically offensive actions towards President Obama. Not once in that article does it talk about "safety". It was all about disrespecting the President. Totally 100% political.
The Missouri State Fair imposed a lifetime ban on the rodeo clown whose depiction of Obama getting charged by a bull was widely criticized by Democratic and Republican officials alike.
The rodeo clown won't be allowed to participate or perform at the fair again. Fair officials say they're also reviewing whether to take any action against the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, the contractor responsible for Saturday's event.
But a Democrat depiction of somebody resembling Paul Ryan throwing Granny off a cliff, is perfectly OK.
The conservative faux outrage and intentional obtuseness is so cute.
This issue is all about the context. A tv ad aired during a campaign season is designed to be political. When you go to a rodeo, you don't expect and shouldn't have to deal with some nutjob right winger that decides to spew his personal political agenda while in blackface creating a klan rally type atmosphere. There was simply no reason to inject politics into that environment.
Well, see, that's my point. If the Missouri State Fair is not run by the government, then "free speech" is completely irrelevant. Take your complaints to the State Fair. Nothing really left to discuss, is there?
Help me out here. Is the Missouri State Fair run by the government on public land?
Doesn't matter. The party in power is flexing its muscle to silence any potential dissent and criticism of the regime.
