We are nearly 5 years into this presidency and nothing is O's fault. Yet you blame Bush for something that happened 9 months after he takes office. Yup. His complete fault. Because it took those terrorists all of only nine months to plan and train for that monumentous exercise in terror.
The (obvious) point is that Bush was TOLD something bad was coming and he ignored it to go on a 5-week vacation. When the terrorists began planning it is irrelevant, of course.
And speaking of which, who the hell takes a 5-week vacation only a few months after starting a new job? Golly gee, it's that hard-workin', pulled-himself-up-by-his-bootstraps Georgie Boy.
At least Obama spends his time at The White House, where he is available to meet with other government officals, etc.
Meanwhile Bush hid out on his privateproperty 1500 miles away from Washington DC.
Bush was able to avoid dealing with the news media and any government officials wanting to meet with him.
Let's face it ... he was "on vacation".
His Crawford time was his to use any way he wanted. Nobody to bother him. He was on his own private property.
And he had no reason to work if he didn't feel like it.
He could fish at his personal 11 acre lake that he had built at Crawford, and stocked with more than 600 fish.
He could swim in the pool he had built there.
He could go mountain biking at his ranch, which was so big you could fit 10 Disneylands inside the property lines!
He could do all of these fun things while he was sending thousands of soldiers to fight in the wars he started!
You show one single photo of Bush conducting a meeting in Crawford, and according to you, that should fully explain Bush's entire 490 days at Crawford?
How about you prove Bush "hid out" while he was in Crawford? Kibby already posted a list of the people who are known to have visited him. Do you think all those diplomats were there for a fishing trip??
How about you show ONE photo of Obama conducting a meeting while vacationing in Hawaii? How about Martha's Vineyard - you have an album of him meeting people?? FFS he didn't even stick his head out to comment on the civil unrest in Egypt, but sent some talking head out to say "we condemn the violence", but when Morsi was ousted he was hunkered down in the situation room talking to Kerry about the situation - via phone because Kerry was on vacation.
That means he has about 3 weeks of vacation per year. That seems actually reasonable... are we sure about the "94" days because it seems longer than that but I may be wrong... is this excluding holidays?
My issue is with people who are too stupid and dishonest to acknowledge that every day that President Bush spent in Crawford wasn't a "vacation day". If you apply the same criteria to both Presidents Obama and Bush are about the same when it comes to true vacation days.
I'm deeply interested in how you know exactly what President Bush was doing, every minute, for those 320 days. You've made this assertion more than once so clearly you've been able to actually do a minute-by-minute comparison.

Rather than question what the media calls a vacation, the press should be asking where Obama was the overnight of September 11, 2012, when four Americans were slain in Benghazi.
Very curious to know what kind of warnings Obama had about Benghazi. You know, like the entire nine months of warnings that Bush received about an imminent attack.

There is nothing to prove.
Bush was on his own private property, which means invited guests only.
Bush was free to do as he pleased.
He could spend an hour holding a meeting, and then go fishing on his private lake the rest of the day.
There would be no uninvited press or other government officials there to see what he was doing.
And there were only 15 reported visits by foreign diplomats.

No, the Obama supporters are playing the "Bush did this, so it's okay if Obama does this" game. As Kibby pointed out earlier in the thread, the entire premise in an insult to Obama.
Pointing out obvious hypocrisy is a valid argument. Were you outraged when Bush spent the majority of time at his 'ranch'?
