I happen to agree with you on this one AeroGuyDC... Shocking isn't it...

Terrible deflection attempt. Does it not bother you that the right wing machine isn't trashing W for being a lazy ass while Obama has been hard on the job?

They assume that because anytime Obama isn't behind his desk at the WH he is 100% on vacation so everyone else must do it too.

  • Bush took a whopping 50 trips - 323 vacation days!
So you think Bush's 50 trips (100 flights of Air Force One) was cheap to the taxpayer?

Or how about Reagan's 29 trips (58 flights of AFO)?

How about taxpayers paying for the Secret Service to travel (flight, meals, living accommodations) ?

And once again ... you have NO IDEA of how much time any of the presidents actually "works" while on vacation.
I don't suppose that while Obama is off on junkets and campaign-style trips with his wife and often his children at the tax payer's expense anyone would think of them in terms of vacations. And I don't suppose a press with an agenda would count Bush's similar trips, with or without his wife and family, as vacations.

Nah! Couldn't happen. We all know that the media always reports the news fairly and in a totally nonpartisan manner, right?

George W. Bush was a lot older than Obama. Of course he should take more vacations. Imagine if McCain was President?

Yup. He'd have been 72 when elected. Hillary will be 69 or 70 if she's elected. Break out the NoDoz!

If you include all the days he's out campaigning and giving speeches to the vacation figure, it would probably suck up half of his Presidency . With the problems the country is facing, as a general rule he shouldn't be taking any vacation days, and neither should Congress.
