If you are talking mainstream media then most of them do, but there are others that have a right leaning platform. The shame is there are so few that do not lean at all.

Yes and anyone who says no is blind. This is NOT due to liberals being more "creative" or "dtawn" to media, there are plenty of conservatives with those personality traits as well. Political ideologies has nothing to do with emotional traits, it's just based off your understanding of the world.

The media has a liberal bias for a couple reasons:

1-The average journalist does NOT make much money, as a result they are looking out for their own self interest. People who make less tend to want government handouts.

2-There media is ran by a small group of Liberal Elitists and as such tend to higher people who agree with their views, so to get your foot in the door you need to match their views. This is especially true in Hollywood, it's not really about how talented you may need, it's about who you know and whose parties you're invited too, and they are not going to invite any openly conservative person to their parties. Which means no work for you. So you either "go liberal" or keep your mouth shut if you disagree for your careers sake. This is why you see so many actors taking preaching liberal BS and so few conservative celebrities. It's good for their careers, many actors don't really care about the issues, they just want attention. Also why you see liberal preaching in many tv sitcoms like Family Guy, and why you will never see a conservative equivalent to the daily show, and why all the women on the View are so one sided and love Obama. This also goes for many film critics as well, which is why they give every christian based movie a bad review.

I know people who work in Hollywood, they'll tell you the same thing. But it's really about making money, and if you can bring in the Dough they'll produce it because contrary to popular liberal beliefs, these liberal Elitists Michael Moore types are as much in favour of capitalism like everyone else.

Only in our Bizarro-World are elected representatives diametrically opposed to the philosophy and values of the people they are supposed to represent
I have never seen a single polls that identifies ideology in any way that shows conservatives out number liberals unless it is self identification. And if you dont understand why that is significant, google " penis size self identification poll" LOL.

I think there is definitely a left-leaning in the print media and on the network news and CNN. Fox and talk radio lean right. The internet is all over the place. As for being more negative towards Al Gore than Bush, that had more to do with how pompous and annoying Gore was and Bush being a relatively unknown quantity at the time. They supported the wars because most of the media lived in New York during 9/11, and they live in New York now knowing that they are a potential target of terrorism. That's my take on it anyway, though I'm sure it's more complex than that.

There is an extreme bias for Barack Obama. Can you imagine the media coverage if Benghazi happened during the Bush Administration? Or Fast and Furious, letting guns walk into Mexican Drug Cartels' hands with no way of tracing them? Or the IRS targeting liberal groups during a Republican administration? Heck, they even seem to have forgiven the Obama Administration for tapping reporters' phones and computers. You know that wouldn't happen if McCain or Romney were president.

It's been completely ridiculous how much water they carry for Obama, beginning with the circus surrounding Joe the Plumber. They raked that guy over the coals, reporting on his licenses and back taxes, and all for asking a question of a candidate for president. Then, the treatment of Sarah Palin. The seeming coordination between the Obama Admin. and the news organizations. A prime example is when Obama "evolved" on the issue of gay marriage and a couple of days later the Washington Post had an "investigative report" on Mitt Romney leading a group of boys to cut off an allegedly homosexual guy's hair when he was a teenager at prep school over 40 years ago.

Anyone who can't see the bias just isn't looking.

Of course they do. Their job is to report facts, and it's well-known that facts have a liberal bias.

Five pages of comments and I'm the only who cited examples of media bias. I noticed that all the liberals can't see the bias, and the usual condescending way they imply all conservatives are idiots. I'm conservative, but I can call out Fox News and papers like the Wall Street Journal or the Washington Times for their conservative bias. Why can't liberals acknowledge the bias in almost all other newspapers and network news?

"If reality wasn't so serious, liberalism would be mere comic relief for the thinking mind."
