Nutjob or not, if society does not have those that question our government then the government is free to rule as it wants.

Thomas Jefferson - "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."
But thats why a free press is so vital to our democracy. Lets face reality, most americans lack the intellectual ability to question government in a meaningful way. Its why voting blocks keep voting against their own self interests. The free press are supposed to ask those questions, they are the ones we rely in to root out corruption and keep washington straight.

The problem is the same corporate entities that have bought elections with contributions, have been buying all of the news agencies.

Thats why we are where we are. Amend the constitution, end corporate personhood.

I believe that. I figured that out about him during the 2012 presidential election. Yes, there is such a thing as controlled opposition, that's what Ron Paul was. You get the mainstream media to make the other guy look like he's on the outside, when he really isn't, to make the gullible run to him. The "liberal" media do it to Republican presidential candidates, they pick out one guy and blast him (usually the most right-wing ones fall victim to this tactic), forcing the gullible Republicans to run toward the victim and support him, forgetting the other people. The whole Libertarian ideology works in this way as well. Get the right-wing media to blast and make fun of Libertarianism, get people to rally around it and go against this big bad RINOs, then come in and start claiming that they are Libertarian themselves (Beck is guilty of this, Limbaugh and Hannity seem to embrace it lukewarmly). When it comes to brass knuckles, the ultra rich support Libertarianism, because it is the ideology of primitive accumulation. They just use the whole liberty shtick to get the suckers to support the ultra rich

Bingo!!

Highlighting anything short of being thrown in concentration camps will be called "paranoia" by the unapologetic statists.

Anybody who says there is nothing to worry about is the true nutjob.

But that doesnt mean everyone who questions the govt is a "nutjob".

See the pattern now????
One thing I learned in life is that when a lot of money is at stake, always question their motivation, that goes for Jones and everyone else.

Yes. have to wait to rep u again.

They are trying to pigeonole those who KNOW govt is lying (most educated people do, these days, by now). The idea of AJ is a good one, bcs many Americans are disgusted by Dems and rethugs. And all politicians at this point.

The left /right fake paradigm distraction, etc. is also a construct of corporate media.

better to have the masses sputtering about coulter, or gun control (Jones appearing on CNN/Piers shill show ended the debate for whose side he is on, imo), than the economy or drone legislation.

I looked up who is funding the AJ show- its isnt a pretty conclusion.
