The article I posted makes it clear that the legislature is dominated by Mormons due to their beliefs but that certain issues actually require church direction.
If you don't think the LDS dominates the legislature in Utah you have to believe in the tooth fairy.
And Mormons will dominate the government and control it anywhere they are a large plurality. See Boulder City NV.
Uh...so what?
Replace the Mormons in your post with anything else and it would be the same. It's called democracy in case you haven't heard of it before. Whoever is in the majority dominates the local government, and their views are the ones that get enacted into law. And if they pass laws that violate the rights of the minority then those laws will be struck down by higher courts.
And I bet if someone did post the same thing you did but about black people, you'd be right there screaming racism.

Indeed, more than probable. And it'd be typical Liberal hypocrisy too.
Liberals despise religion; God is the higher authority unanswerable to their control-freakism. And hence their disgust and bigotry towards the devoutly faithful of Christianity, Judaism, and Mormonism in the U.S. The devoutly faithful are outside their orbit of control.
Utah obviously a place that has benefited tremendously from the end of the Dubya Dark Ages and thrived under President Obama's incredible leadership and smarts.

YES! Let's give credit where credit is due.
I love the place but a lot of people there, many of whom are very dear to me, they harbor a deep-seeded dislike of all Democrats, similar I suppose to how many folks here feel about Republicans.
Anyway, I greatly appreciate being born and raised a Mormon in the Bay Area-gave me an intimate glimpse into both sides.
Again, I would rather have a couple tasty strong beers for a good price than to have a bunch of overpriced weak beer that does nothing but fill my bladder with water.
You're wrongly assuming Utah beers are low in alcohol. They aren't. Just the beers that are sold in grocery stores. At the brewery and at the state store the alcohol percentage can be whatever it is intended to be.

Yep, and you have to pay much, much more for the better beer. I prefer having an aisle full of good beer with a higher alcohol content in my grocery store so I can enjoy a good strong beer at the day. It has actually been strange for me here in New Jersey where you have to go to a liquor store to buy your beer. Some of the alcohol laws in this country are just plain stupid.
I think that it proves that traditional family values works. That and Mormons take care of their own. They don't need the government.

The mormons also donate a percentage of their income to the church to help the less fortunate members of the church. ...socialism.
