As a sunbelt state, Utah does pretty good. Most of the southern end is very pleasant sunbelt country.

Yup - Born in NY, Raised in KY, Went to college in NYC and spent 16 years in Rochester.
I go back east of the Mississippi only for weddings and funerals. Can't stand it any more. Muggy, run down, buggy, unfriendly, bad roads.
Ivoc, sometimes the best strategy is just to quietly slip out and leave the talking to people who can actually add something of value to the discussion. If you were to do that now, most of us would probably forget everything you've said and you could move on to another thread and still manage to more or less save face.
The east is run down and unfriendly? Huh, I haven't noticed.
