Except that CHRIST(mas) is the only national LEGAL holiday. And it's a CHRIST(ian) holiday and that is what is festers under the skin on non-believers. They loathe the idea of a CHRIST(ian) holiday being set aside as a nationally recognized legal holiday. They cry "FOUL"! And they will keep on crying forever ~ and never win.....

And Christmas is really the Pagan Holiday Yule which celebrates the Winter Solsitice, when the Christians went around killing everyone and forcing them to convert to Christianity, they kept the holiday Yule because everyone enjoyed it anyway(and figured people would have an easier time converting) and just decided to call it Christmas
