Well, you should be keeping christ in your hearts all year long, so why the pageantry? Keep it in the churches, in your hearts but not supported by my atheistic tax dollars.

Why do xians insist on the outward display anyway. Why not celebrate in your hearts and churches and homes?

Maybe the best answer would be to get rid of the holiday, the decorations, the school vacations, etc.

Fine with me. Then there would be no "war" that xians are so vigilantly fighting.

Ah....Let's not get rid of Christmas

Seems that a vast, vast majority of the entire world celebrate the holiday -

Are you suggesting that every nation that celebrates Christmas should give it up?

You realize if the holiday was eliminated, so would the school vacations, the parties, the parades, the presents, etc. No Christmas bonus, no nothing. Get back to work!

Don't punish us simply for living in a Christian-dominant society, where our holidays are referred to as "celebrations." Now the High-Holy Days (Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur) are undoubtedly important, significant religious holidays - yet you don't see us trying to dominate the entire month of September, do you?
I don't know what it means to "spread more reputation" but, here is my little part. Good post.

Even the atheists would hate that. Especially when everyone found out that their bleatings gave us the extra workdays.

I would predict a tidal wave of conversions in time for Christmas... chielgirl dressed as an angel...with a beatific smile on her uptilted countenance....

Who is doing that? 500 well publicized people of a population of a US population of 301,139,947, being dominated by the newertainment channels of Fox news, making it appear that this is some wide spread movement?

Who is doing that? Have you met anyone who is doing that?
