Yes those are great countries.

Canada is our number one trading partner.
Some sources state that Australia is the most livable country in the world.
Norway and Switzerland gives great benefits to their citizens.
Idk much about Austria but its a E.U nation so i'm sure its great as well.

What do you do to improve it? Do you ever defend the Constitution against the wiles of your leaders?

It has still the world's largest economy though. They could get rid of the debt if they cut foreign and military aid, and slightly raise the taxes on cheaper states.

Public transportation does not exist or lack thereof except in some large cities. Most Americans are dependent on car. Been to Europe? Nah don't think so. We have no high speed trains as an example.
Most bridges, highways and local roads are very old and needs to be replaced/fixed. Potholes and cracks on many roads, something unseen in most of Europe even in Scandinavia with colder and snowier climate.

15% live at or below poverty, which is very high percentage for a developed nation. It should be less than 5%.
Brainwashed by whom?
If you love Public Transportation move to a city that has Public Transportation.
Yes i have been to Europe and it is very dense place esp compared to the USA so of course they have better public transportation compared to us.
Potholes and cracks on roads DO exist on European motorways, ESPECIALLY in Scandinavian countries.

I'm not so sure they could ever pay it off.
