Does Obama hate the U.S.? No, that would be the far right. What else could you conclude from a party who has made it their mission to do everything possible to make sure that nothing good or productive happens on his watch? The far right would rather see the country collapse than see Obama succeed. That is what the right defines as "love of country."

Here's an idea. Let's find a modern former president who hasn't had his face on magazines, traveled around on "big airplanes" (seriously ), or written a book about himself, and then we'll talk, shall we? Good lord.

In the meantime, here's a little light reading:

Decision Points, by George W. Bush
A Charge to Keep, by George W. Bush

My Life, by Bill Clinton
Between Hope and History, by Bill Clinton

All the Best, George Bush: My life in Letters and other Writings, by George HW Bush
Speaking of Freedom: The Collected Speeches of George HW Bush, by George HW Bush

An American Life, by Ronald Reagan
Speaking my Mind by Ronald Reagan

I just picked TWO for each president. Do you want me to keep going?

No offence, but this is honestly an extremely stupid poll and question.

I'm just curious--in what alternate reality does saying we have problems and working for change mean that you hate a country? If that's the criteria, then every single politician in American must hate the US, because that's the goal of politics--getting in there to to address things you don't like, and changing them.

I don't say this lightly--I honestly think I'm dumber for reading this thread.

What are you talking about? Things were perfect in the USA until Obama starting trying to change things!

I know! Two wars at the same time with no real attempt to catch the guy who actually did attack us, and a near collapse of our financial system! It was HEAVEN!
