According to Kathleen Sebelius, we need to pass immigration reform so all those tens of millions of illegal aliens can then qualify for ObamaCare. The CBO has already revised up the costs of ObamaCare to about $2 trillion over ten years, and this was without factoring in tens of millions of illegal aliens.

No matter which side of the political isle you find yourself on, the skyrocketing cost to taxpayers to fund ObamaCare has got to at least have you concerned as to how the hell we are supposed to pay for all of this. Especially worrisome is this is going to happen during "the worst economy since the Great Depression."

Sebelius: Pass Immigration Bill to Boost Obamacare Enrollment | CNS News

(CNSNews.com) - Asked Thursday if the Affordable Care Act will help "undocumented individuals," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said no -- and that's why immigration reform is so important:
"Well, the (Obamacare) bill is crafted in such a way that those who are undocumented will not have access to the tax credits or shopping in the (health insurance) marketplace. That has been limited, which is, frankly, why -- another very keen reason why we need comprehensive immigration reform," Sebelius told a gathering of Latinos in Philadelphia.

Sure --- Obama already exempted the illegals from having to pay for their health care costs. He's not going to make them pay for anything.

So we were promised the illegals couldn't get on the Obama bandwagon but now that's all changed ?
It's in the signed bill.

Oh wait...we don't have to follow the rules of signed bills.
Just release a "memo" saying you're modifying the law that Congress signed.
No big deal. Congress isn't doing anything about it so it's become perfectly acceptable to change the rules as you go.

Well then open the flood gates. Let the 20 million sign up for Obamacare or medicaid. And give them all their subsidies.

$2 trillion over 10 years my foot. We'll probably hit that $2 trillion within 2 years with all the waivers, exemptions we've given out because there will be no money flowing into the government to pay for this..all the payments got waivered out by the government that put them in place to begin with to sell us this bill of goods.

All that is left are the penalties individuals have to pay.

Are you feeling like you've been fooled yet ?

I would assume that if you were living in the shadows as an illegal alien, you probably do not earn much money. So the vast majority of illegals obtaining waivers/amnesty would qualify for huge ObamaCare subsides.

Whatever the current estimates for funding ObamaCare, just add $5-$10 billion more a year to it, or $200,000,000 per state. That is if you assume five to ten million new immigrant families getting about $1,000 to $2,000 a year in ACA subsides each year.

BTW, I'm probably way low in these figures, I'm guessing it will cost much more.

Obama told us that criminal aliens would not be eligible for Obamacare. I would have to say to Kathy..."You Lie!". Either her or the POTUS....which is it?

But they will be "legal" after amnesty is passed.
And the amnesty bill that passed in the Senate only list 5 means tested programs they cannot apply for right away. The rest of the programs will probably hold open houses to sign them all up.
