* We use the Gregorian calendar (found by Pope Gregory based on Christ' birth year).
* Government places and most non-retail sects are closed on Sundays.

* Presidents always uses quotes of Jesus and the New Testament.
* Churches every few hundred meters.
* "God Bless", "Bless you", "Jesus Christ", etc. everywhere.
* Blue laws in parts of the nation.

Political correctness have ruined this nation though and turned it into Anti-Semitic and Anti-Christian...

So why are conservative Christians scared that non Christians are going to oppress them???

Where do they get that wimpy attitude from?

Seriously, I think it's because Jesus got a raw deal/was persecuted according to The Bible.

Oppression is part of the paradigm.

Imho I don't think that the words "conservative" and "christian" should ever be used in the same sentence...it gives chritians a bad name.

Eh who cares. Believe in God or not. Let the evil ones go into the abyss. They can be miserable in company and think they are better than everybody else like most liberals.

That Christianity in the U.S. is cultural more than anything is the problem. If it was truly a way of life for the majority who profess its tenets, the nation's past and present wouldn't be so troubled.

The Founding Father's really didn't. Unfortunately, there aren't any real conservatives around who realize this. By the way, shepherds don't tend their flocks at night where Jesus was. The day where Christmas is celebrated wasn't the actual day, they were just trying to snuff out a pagan holiday.
