Did The US have other missiles in other countries in Europe other than Turkey aimed at USSR?

what other missiles did USSR have in the westren hemisphere other than Cuba?

So who had the edge?

I would argue the reverse, but whatever. I think Syria needs to have a gun held to their heads in order to complete this deal.
Putin .. playing the smartest man in the world like a puppet!

Obama sak hangers are twisting and turning .. desperately looking for a way to have their god (little g) look like he's not the fool that Putin knows that he is!

Well it's not a done deal. Putin's not playing anything yet. Let's see what happens. I don't know what a "sak hanger" is.

This is either one of the most cunningly devised foreign affairs play ever...or one of the biggest diplomatic cluster ****s in history that happens to end up with a "happy" ending. Kerry is now taking credit for his off-the-cuff quip paving the way for a diplomatic solution.

Hey look at that....this time you managed to incorporate multiple bullet points into one response!

Liberal/Obama Supporter Auto Response Protocol™

1. The source isn't valid
2. That's racist
3. GOP obstruction
4. But...but...but George W. Bush
5. Haters gonna hate
6. Repeat 1,2,3,4 and/or 5 as needed then insult the opposition for failing to support this great man, declare victory, and move on

Instead of slinging the typical Obot hogwash you could actually try to refute some of the points made in the OP. Can you do that? That's rhetorical BTW....

I guess he is trying to say TBagger with a Dem slant? With the rapid fire changes of events, I suspect the Obama speech has been rewritten a few times today.

I think this deal saves Obamas face. It was all worked out in the backrooms. For those saying that Putin pressured syria, have a look and what we see is that Kerry was the first to dangle the carrot before the chorus started with everybody on board including the Syrians.
From another angle, it is hard to know if Obama himself is not a right winger when you look at his rhetorical stance. In the final analysis historians of the subject of Liberals versus Right Wingers will have a hard time to know who is who after this since the demarcation line doesn't seem to be where it aught to be.
